Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at IISER Mohali

 

IISER Mohali is one of the leading science institutes in North India located in the Knowledge City (Mohali). It plays a significant role in scientific research and innovation in this region, in the country and internationally. It has excellent facilities for research with an investment of over 200 Crores in research equipment and laboratories. Many faculty members of IISER Mohali are  scientists of high repute in the world, with several cutting-edge research initiatives and projects, some of which have been patented and acknowledged internationally.

 

The Technology Business Incubator at IISER Mohali is a Not-For-Profit organisation located within the campus of IISER  Mohali, with a focus on taking research to ventures by providing access to an ecosystem and programs for potential & existing Start-Ups, SMEs and other organisations.

Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program

 

Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) program at the TBI IISER Mohali strives to promote entrepreneurs in new technology & new application areas.

 

It provides Potential start-ups, Existing start-ups, SMEs, and partners an opportunity to address challenges with a venture potential - develop ideas, carry out R&D activities, develop technologies, products and solutions, start new ventures. The program is offered as per the rules and regulations of IISER Mohali. Lab Access Program

 

Lab Access Program provides Start-ups, SMEs and other industries, access to the available lab facilities of IISER Mohali for carrying out research and product development activities, subject to availability, charges as applicable, and, as per the rules and regulations of the institute IISER Mohali.

Mentor Access Program provides Start-ups, SMEs and other industries, access to Faculty Mentors at IISER Mohali.

 

Mentoring by Faculty Mentors at IISER Mohali can provide access to deep knowledge, subject matter expertise, guidance on research, technology development, product development, solutions development, as well as, relevant information on networks of research and innovation labs in India and overseas.
