Awareness / Sensitizing Programme to Teaching and Non teaching staff of IISER Mohali on “Prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions"

An Awareness / sensitizing programme was organized by Internal Complaints Committee, IISER Mohali, on 23 Nov 2023 for Teaching and Non teaching employees of IISER Mohali on “Prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions".  The speaker for the session was Sh. Surender Kumar, Additional District & Sessions Judge.

About the Speaker:

Sh. Surender Kumar, Additional District & Sessions Judge, now posted as Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, U.T, Chandigarh. A Haryana Cadre Judicial Officer of 2007 batch. Joined as Judicial Magistrate in batch of year 2007. Designated as Chief Judicial Magistrate in year 2014 and promoted as Additional District & Sessions Judge in year 2019.  Now working as Member Secretray on deputation in State Legal Service Authority, UT Chandigarh
