Third INTER IISER Sports Meet (IISM)
The 3rd INTER IISER Sports Meet (IISM) was held at IISER Mohali during December 10-14, 2014. This meet was inaugurated by Hon'ble S. Sukhvir Singh Grewal (Director Training & Curriculum, Punjab Institute of Sports) on 10 December 2014. Seven institutes including IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram ,NISER Bhuvaneshvar, IISc Bangalore and IISER Mohali participated in this meet. Twelve group events and various individual events were conducted for both girls and boys and approximately 650 students (girls and boys) participated in this meet. The prize distribution function was held on 14th December 2014 in the presence of the chief guest Olympian Brig. ( Retd.) Labh Singh, Dhyanchand Awardee. The Overall Championship was won by IISER Mohali with 4900 points, IISER Bhopal & IISER Pune were at 2nd and 3rd positions with 4550 and 4500 points respectively.
