- This laboratory is designed to train students in major techniques used
to study gene expression as well as to expose students to important
concepts in Developmental Biology. Students will learn basic molecular
biology tools such as cloning, PCR, electrophoresis and isolation and
quantification of DNA, RNA and proteins. Students will also study
developmental processes in various model organisms such as
Drosophila, Caenorhabditis, Chick, Planaria etc.
